Sam Baguley Good stuff in general, the Esther Rose cut is especially nice. Favorite track: What It Takes.
Brad Legg

Brad Legg Bought this because it's a fundraiser, but I am loving the music. I listened through it the other day and kept saying, "No THIS song is my favorite" until I reached the end and had to say the last song was my favorite. Favorite track: Either Or.
Sean Dolan

Sean Dolan Great comp, being from the Philly area I have a bias of supporting this but regardless of that, it’s still a great comp. Jackson Pines has a great somber track that became my I stand favorite. Looking forward to the next comp. Favorite track: Half Light.
Art Fin

about

Co-Mission is a project started by Folkadelphia during the COVID-19 pandemic to help get money in the hands of in-need artists and musicians during a time of financial, professional, and personal instability and uncertainty.

The idea is to commission home recordings (home studio, Garageband, cellphone, whatever!) from a group of artists, non-exclusively license the track for use on a donation-based compilation on Bandcamp, and use any and all proceeds to commission more recordings from more artists, creating more compilations, and continuing the process. All the while, we will be looking for opportunities to highlight these artists’ work, records, and any other ways that supporters can directly spend or donate money to them.

So basically, when you donate here, you are helping fund future iterations of Co-Mission, isn't that dope?

To learn more about each artist, their contribution, and the ways that you can spend your money to support them, click each individual track.

If you have any questions, comments, concerns, thoughts, feelings, feedback of any kind, or want to get involved in any way, please reach out to us: www.folkadelphia.com/submit/ or at fred(at)folkadelphia(dot)com.

Thank you to everyone that has helped out in a myriad of ways to get this off the ground so that we can keep raising money for the artists and musicians in our lives.
